CLAYENS Group announces the completion of its acquisition of SAIMAP VIENNOT, strengthening its position in the processing of high-performance polymers and composites.

 


Founded in 1958, SAIMAP VIENNOT is a renowned French industrial company based in Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets (Eure-et-Loir). Specialized in the manufacture of technical parts and assemblies in high-performance polymer materials by machining, injection and compression, it mainly serves the aerospace, defense and energy industries. Under the management of Michel Barbut, SAIMAP VIENNOT has consolidated its position thanks to recognized industrial expertise and know-how. The company employs 46 people and generates sales of nearly 13 million euros.


Based in Genas (Rhône), the CLAYENS group is a leader in polymer and composite processing. CLAYENS works with customers all over the world to provide them with the customized products and services they need for a wide range of industries: aeronautics, automotive, healthcare, electrical & infrastructure, industry & equipment. The CLAYENS group employs 5,000 people in 30 plants in Europe, North Africa, the United States and Mexico, with sales of around €650 million.


The acquisition of SAIMAP VIENNOT enables CLAYENS to extend and strengthen its expertise in technical and complex products in small and medium production runs, aimed at leading-edge industrial sectors such as aerospace and defense. This operation bears witness to CLAYENS' determination to make this sector a strategic axis of development, drawing on its French subsidiaries AIP and PIT as well as its American sites in Atlanta (Georgia) and Rockford (Illinois).
