Who are you ?
My name is Nadia, mother of two daughters, sportswoman, I live in Mohammedia,
I am a Technician in mechanical manufacturing methods, I followed my training at the Institute of Applied Technology in Casablanca.
My professional career began in 1992, as a 2D draftswoman on drawing boards before Solid Works and Auto-cad, this first experience allowed me to discover wire cutting (Robotfil), I was "pioneer in the development of this technology in Morocco"! I developed my skills in programming which offered me great professional opportunities. In 2000, the drawing on boards was transformed into computer aided design, (I had to take the train and follow a Solid Works training for a year in order to best meet the market requirements, I had the chance to follow a training in Control Method and monitoring of wire machines and sinking machine, which allowed me to work on new projects of design of cutting tools and preparation of high precision parts, an experience of 11 years anyway!
I always wanted to develop my skills to acquire a versatility and to be free in my functions, Clayens NP Morocco offered me this possibility, to join a dynamic team, my profile corresponded perfectly to the expectations of the development of the plastics industry,
I was hired as a Precision Mechanics Workshop Manager for seven years, during this period, my skills have evolved as Clayens NP Morocco. Then, a new adventure presented itself to me in Metrology with a position of Metrology Laboratory Manager, I appreciated the confidence of the management which believes in its employees and does everything possible to make them evolve.
I appreciate the support I have received in my career development via development plans: through training (local or international) or thanks to the moral support, which is fundamental for maintaining promotion. I am convinced that the future with CLAYENS holds great possibilities for me, and I can't wait to find out what happens next...
How long have you been with Clayens ?
11 years, it passes quickly, it's like it was yesterday !
What are your assignments ?
As a Metrology Laboratory Manager, I must ensure the calibration of checking fixtures, the conformity of the fixtures (dimensional, electrical, hydraulic...), meet the needs of customers, prepare reports and dimensional measurements, validate ARs and new projects, establish actions following the expertise of customer incidents.
Tell us about a typical day ?
In the morning, I always arrive in a good mood, I greet all my team to transmit a positive energy!
I treat my Emails and "attack" on the urgencies before starting my daily work plan previously defined according to the order of priority of my Projects
Then I take advantage of my break, usually around 11:00 am, to put my ideas in order.
I then lead the daily meeting with my team, I continue my day by ensuring that the actions implemented by the entire metrology department are carried out correctly, while consolidating cross-functional communication with the Head of the Quality Department and/or the other managers.
My laboratory is always solicited by customer visits, which allows me not to fall into a routine, to renew my breath, to see new faces, to benefit from a constructive and evolving exchange, and above all, to remain in conformity with international requirements.
For you Clayens is...?
« Above all, it is a source of pride!
A dynamic group, in full growth, always at the forefront of innovation »
Moreover, my laboratory is a very nice showcase, the management always promotes it during visits and/or audits of customers and/or prospects. Suffice it to say that I started my career with only 4 presses, today we have 40. There is a lot to be proud of !
